About the Walk
Walk to End Lupus Now ™ (WTELN) events provide all people affected by lupus and their families the opportunity to come together for one unified purpose — to end lupus. Join the Lupus Foundation of America and thousands of walkers across the nation to raise money for lupus research, increase awareness of lupus, and rally public support for the estimated 1.5 million Americans who suffer from its brutal impact.
We understand sometimes it can be difficult with lupus to travel to a WTELN event, or that sometimes our scheduled date doesn't quite match up with your plans and other commitments. We want to make sure we are providing you the best opportunity possible to still get involved and help be the power in the movement to end lupus!
Becoming a virtual walker allows you to register yourself or a team and fundraise just as you would if you were attending a WTELN event in person. Set a fundraising goal to help put an end to lupus and join us from the comfort of your own home or somewhere local to wherever you are in solidarity with everyone who suffers from this cruel and mysterious disease. Also, you will still earn prizes just as you would if you were able to walk with us at a WTELN event!
