NEW IN 2017
SAME WALK, NEW TIME
Nearly a decade ago we moved the time of our walks to the afternoon to accommodate the difficulty individuals with lupus have in the mornings. However, since that time, our temperatures have increased significantly. Based on resounding requests from walkers, we are moving the walk to a late morning format in an attempt to lessen the temperature impact on those in attendance.
To ensure a fun, safe, and cost effective event the walk has been condensed to one route that is is 1.25 miles. Walkers will now get to enjoy the entire route together with their friends, family, and teammates. Walkers can make their way around the beautiful streets of downtown Fayetteville. Don’t want to walk? Sign up to volunteer instead! If you can attend, but physically can't participate in the walk, you can hang out with the others at the Start/Finish area to cheer on the walkers as they return.
