Walk Committees

The Walk to End Lupus Now events provide unique opportunities for individuals to join the fight against lupus. Whether you volunteer, fundraise, spread the word, mentor walk teams, or help plan the event, our events have one unified purpose -- to end lupus

Our statewide Walk to End Lupus Now™ Committees play a vital role in the fight against lupus.  The purpose of these committees is to involve local volunteers in the planning process and cultivation efforts in order to make the event more fun and successful each year. Our walks cannot take place without the help of our volunteers to make the event happen. Imagine the difference we WILL make in the fight against lupus with your help.

Planning Committee will solely focus on the areas which directly affect the execution of the walk, i.e. product/service donations, volunteer recruitment, marketing, sponsorship, and community outreach. This committees purpose is to involve you, as a local volunteer, in the planning, logistics, and execution in order to make the event more fun, safe, and successful each year.

Mentor Committee involves local volunteers, you,  in the communication with, cultivation of, and encouragement of our fundraisers and teams. This is your chance to be a Role Model by offering a personal touch to our participants! Mentors will also have the opportunity to help the LFANC staff develop new fundraising guides and equip our fundraisers with the tools needed to be a success.
