I’m Walking to End Lupus. Join Me?
As most of you know I was diagnosed with Lupus 33 years ago. I know all too well what it is like to live with a disease that is misdiagnosed, misunderstood and not funded Nearly Enough. I've also experienced being told I don't look sick, but yet my Lupus is in a flare, which means my body is fighting against itself and almost every part of my body hurts. Yet I press on. The help and unweavering support of the FLANC provides me is what motivates me to stay engaged, support others with Lupus and encourage everyone to donate generously (no amount is too snall) to this worthy organization.
To that end I am participating in this yars Virtual Walk to End Lupus. During these unprecedent times we need your support to keep the LFANC going to provide resources, research and funding to North Carolina Lupus Thrivers (50 thousand).
Will you make a donation to help me reach my personal fundraising goal and support the Foundation's efforts to improve the quality of life for all people affected by lupus? A generous contribution of $25 or $55 can make a definite impact. What’s more, if your employer offers a Matching Gift Program to employees, you may be able to double your contribution with just a little bit of paperwork. Trust me, it’s worth the effort! Every single dollar counts.
Together, we can solve the cruel mystery of lupus. Thank you for your generosity!
