Christopher is the captain of team "Accountin' on a Cure!" Christopher continues to serve as a member of the board of directors for the Lupus Foundation of America’s North Carolina Chapter (LFANC), and now his team is gearing up for its second year of participation in LFANC's annual Walk to End Lupus Now in Charlotte! Accountin’ on a Cure would love to have your support!
Through Christopher's involvement in LFANC, he has met so many folks who are bravely living with lupus, a puzzling autoimmune disease. LFANC is part of a national force dedicated to solving the cruel mystery of lupus while providing caring support to the estimated 45,000 people living with lupus in North Carolina. Walk to End Lupus Now raises critical funds to support the organization’s programs.
Please join our team for the 1.25-mile walk in Charlotte on Saturday, May 5, 2018, and help us reach our fundraising goal! If you can’t join us, you can still support our team by making a secure donation through this page. Every single dollar counts!
Did you know?

- Lupus symptoms can be severe and highly unpredictable and can damage any organ or tissue from the skin or joints to the heart or kidneys.
- While lupus can strike anyone at any time, 90 percent of people living with lupus are women. Women of color are at especially high risk.
- Only one drug has ever been developed and approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration specifically to treat the disease.
