I’m Walking to End Lupus. Join Me?
I have the honor and privilege to dedicate my life's work to serving those affected by this cruel disease. In 2007, my life changed when my mother received the news she had lupus. At the time, I had no idea what that meant and was uncertain of what life as I knew it would now look like. Fast forward 11 years later, I and my family have committed ourselves to this cause and solving this cruel mystery each year. My mission started off on behalf of my mother, but now I walk for the 53,000 individuals in North Carolina living with the disease. Your donations allow us to provide a financial assistance program to struggling individuals, educational workshops in major cities across the state, and teleconferences in the comfort of individuals homes, and many other support services. I get to see your dollars at work and can personally tell you about the lives that these donations touch. I hope you'll consider supporting me.
Did you know?

- Lupus symptoms can be severe and highly unpredictable and can damage any organ or tissue, from the skin or joints to the heart or kidneys.
- While lupus can strike anyone at any time, 90% of people living with lupus are women. Women of color are at especially high risk.
