Hi!

I'm a Georgia educator living with lupus.  When I was diagnosed at 15, I had no idea of the impact Systemic Lupus Erythematosus would have on my life.  So little was known at that time.  While I'm thankful for the huge strides made in research, treatment, and basic knowledge of this disease,  we have so far to go.

I'm one of about 5 million people in the world living with some form of lupus.  Since 2021 alone, I've lost two members of my lupus support group.  We long for cure.  We need it now!  Until then,  I will advocate on behalf of myself and my lupus family.
