I’m Walking to End Lupus. Join Me? 

Lupus took my baby girl in 2010.  12 years ago our hearts shattered.  As a mother who cared for and watched how a vibrant adult can at times stop being the  person who can do anything they considerd regular and and basic. Sometimes she could not enjoy the feel from a hug of love. I  miss my girls hugs! 

Dealing with lupus as a caregiver has allowed me to understand what true strength really is.   When I meet the many Lupus warriors I am humbled and always praise them for their strength.

We know Bianca would want us to pay it forward. She was such a giving soul, Her legacy must live on in our deeds to help others.

Wherever I am, if I can; I walk to end Lupus. I will tell my story so that others will hopefully not see what I have seen, will not endure all that my family has endured.  I will serve and walk, because my sister in law and my daughter have died from this horrible disease. No one else should suffer. No father should lose his firstborn child, his baby girl. I want that cycle to end. In my family as well as many others.
