I’m Walking to End Lupus. Join Me?
Hello family and friends! I'm a proud Georgia educator fighting for the win in my battle against Lupus. Many of you know that I was diagnosed with Systemic Lupus when I was 15 years old. This disease not only claimed the life of my only child, a beautiful baby boy I named Logan, but also diminished my ability to further conceive. Countless surgeries and hospital stays later, I continue to fight. My greatest symptons are joint and muscle pain, extreme fatigue, and brain fog. While may people living with Lupus can no longer work, I am blessed to be able to continue to feed my passion for education.
Through it all, I can't help but imagine that day when doctors can say, “There is a cure for lupus.” Until that day though, there is work to be done. That’s why I’m taking action in the fight against lupus. Join me as I participate in Lupus Foundation of America’s Walk to End Lupus Now™ in Columbus to raise critical funds for the estimated 1.5 million people living with lupus in the United States.
Will you make a donation to help me reach my personal fundraising goal and support the Foundation's efforts to improve the quality of life for all people affected by lupus?
Together, we can solve the cruel mystery of lupus. Thank you for your generosity!
