I’m Walking to End Lupus. Join Me?
As you know, I was diagnosed with lupus and have been living with this disease for 13 years. You also may or may not know much about lupus, so here is a synopsis about this disease and how it affects the human body. Lupus is an autoimmune disease that attacks the vital
organs in the body such as the heart, liver, kidneys, lungs, bladder, vision, brain, joints (which affects mobility) and also causes hair loss. I personally have dealt with hair loss, joint pain, vision loss and now Stage 1 Lupus Nephritis (kidney disease). This disease affects 1000,000 Floridians
and 1.5 million in the US only, it doesn’t discriminate, it is currently the fifth ranked cause of death in Black & Hispanic women in child bearing years and can affect kids as young as 4-6 years old. I hope you can help me make a difference by adding a donation to support research for a cure.
Currently, the Lupus Foundation and its research team is at Phrase 3 in their research for a drug that would help those affected by Lupus Nephritis and with your financial help this drug will be available sooner than later. Please click on the donate now button and add a donation to support a worthy cause, every dollar added will go directly to research in hopes to save my life and the lives of others living with this disease.
Thank you for taking the time to ready my story, please feel free to contact me with any questions.
