The 2018 Fayetteville Walk to End Lupus Now is this Saturday! Can you believe it's already here?! IT'S GOING TO BE A POWERFUL DAY IN THE FIGHT AGAINST LUPUS! We have raised nearly $15,000 which is 42% of our $35,000 Goal.  If every registered walker were to donate or raise $75 dollars by the walk we would hit our goal.  We can do this!  For those of you who have not registered, there's still time. Online registration will close at Noon on Friday. If you miss the cut off - you can still register on-site on Saturday. 

WEATHER:  The weather forecast for Saturday is calling for 70% chance of thunderstorms during the walk time.  As you can imagine, after a year of planning for the walk, and no rain date opportunity, we always aim to avoid cancellation. However, participant safety is our top concern and due to the severity of weather that is predicted, we have made the difficult decision to change the Walk to a Celebration Party.  

CELEBRATION PARTY:  Please join us on this Saturday at the Ramada Plaza Hotel located at 1707-A Owen Drive in the Wellingtons Ballroom from 9 - 11 am for a time of fun and fellowship as we celebrate your hard work and a day of empowerment.  Drop off your donations, pick up your t-shirt if you raised $100, take part in the raffle, enjoy food and entertainment and meet vendors that are dedicated to this cause. Special tables will be provided in lieu of the top team tents.  You don't have to bring a thing with you to enjoy this victory celebration - just the donations you plan to drop off!

WALK DAY INFORMATION

PARKING:  Parking is available at the Ramada Plaza hotel.

CHECK-IN: Please look for the "Registration" table located in the Wellington Ballroom. There is a separate outside entrance to this ballroom that will be clearly marked, or you may enter through the hotel lobby.  You MUST come through registration if you are one of the following:  1) a participant that did not register prior to the event or 2) a participant making a donation or turning in funds raised.

TEAM PHOTOS: Will be taken in the ballroom throughout the event so gather up your team and get your picture made.   

FOOD :  There will be food and beverage provided by Krispy Kreme and Zaxby's and snacks will be provide by Kinlaw's Supermarket, The Fresh Market and Sam's Club.

WALK DAY RAFFLE

At the walk we’ll be raffling off some great prize packages. Purchase your Raffle tickets at the Raffle Table. The tickets are 1 ticket for $5 OR 5 tickets for $20. You must be present to win.  We have many amazing packages, so be sure to take part in this!

2018 INCENTIVE PRIZES

RAISE $100 = GET A T-SHIRT: All those who raise $100 by walk day, will receive their t-shirt at the event. Fundraising will stay open for 30 days after the Walk to allow everyone the opportunity to earn additional prizes. (Additional prizes are mailed after the fundraising deadline.)

T-SHIRT FAST PASS:  All participants that raise their $100 or more prior to Noon on Friday, May 18th will be emailed a Fast Pass.  This pass allows you to skip the check-in lines at the Registration Tent. Present your Fast Pass hard copy or on your mobile device at the T-shirt Tent to claim your t-shirt. If you do not receive a Fast Pass visit the Registration Tent to receive your t-shirt voucher.
