Good afternoon, Friends!
We hope you will join us next Saturday, June 15th, at Eagle Creek Park for our second annual Lupus Family Picnic/Walk to End Lupus Now Kickoff. We'll have delicious BBQ, great music, face painting, and games for the entire family. Our lupus community is a close one, so to me this is a sort of family reunion. Please join us --you'll be so glad you did.
Finally, our dynamic Board Chair, Carla Day, along with a host of volunteers, are putting on the first ever Faces of Lupus Fashion Show on Saturday, July 13th. All of the eighteen models in the fashion show have lupus --but lupus does NOT have them. Please support them by coming out.
Information for these events, and much more is available at lupusindiana.org
Sincerely,

Support Group Information
We hope you'll join us at
one of our upcoming support group meetings. We offer both in-person support
group meetings and also a Teletalk support group. The philosophy of our support
groups is to provide a warm and caring environment where people with lupus,
their family members, caregivers and loved ones can share their experiences,
methods of coping and insights into living with lupus. LFA support groups
help develop the best coping strategies to reduce a stress that often
accompanies living with a chronic illness.
We are in need of a co-facilitator for the
Bloomington support group. If you are interested in joining Juliana Capshew in
leading this group that meets monthly, please contact Debbie Campbell.
Our Chapter is attending
all support group meetings to make ‘My Intent’ bracelets for attendees. We’ll
be attending the Fort Wayne support group meeting on Mon, June 10. We look
forward to seeing current members and if you haven’t yet attended the meeting
in Fort Wayne, we hope you’ll attend and join in the comradery.

For information on our
support groups, please visit https://www.lupus.org/indiana/support-groups.
