Dallas/Fort Worth 2023 Walk To End Lupus Now! Raised Over $40,000!
This year's Dallas/Fort Worth Walk To End Lupus Now! was a great success. It was a beautiful morning for our warriors, families, friends, and supporters to gather together to raise awareness and funds for lupus. By our estimate there were about 400 people there walking, playing the yard games, having snacks, and using our fun new photo booth. We are so thankful to all those who attended and donated.

We are excited to announce a new free support group for those under 18 who have been diagnosed with lupus. This group will meet virtually on the fourth Saturday of each month. You can register by clicking here. This will be a space for kids as well as their parents to talk about the unique issues facing them in their journey. Please email us with any questions.
Join Us For Our Upcoming Webinar: Caring For Someone With Lupus
This free webinar will be presented by Joanne Mitchell-McLaren RN, BSN, NP-C,MSN a Patient Engagement Liaison with GSK and will focus on how we can best care for those we love who have lupus. This virtual event will be held on May 2nd from 12-1 p.m. You can register by clicking here.
Our Ducky Dash is back and better than ever! Join us on August 18th at the Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine Texas to watch our Lupus Ducks dash down the lazy river. The funds raised for this event will offset the cost of our Lupus Kids' Camp. Our chapter will be hosting our first ever Kids' Camp for our young Lupus Warriors and their families and free of charge. This camp will be a chance for our lupus families to meet other kids, parents, and siblings facing similar challenges.
Please consider adopting a duck to help us send these kids to camp. The ducks range in price from $10 to $1,000 and any donation of $250 or more will fully cover the cost of one of our campers. Ducks can be adopted by clicking here.
