Lupus Foundation of America, Indiana Chapter

December 2022
Message From CEO Brian Rothenberger
Hello, friends.

Can you believe that this year is almost at an end?!?! And what a year it’s been. Transition, new programs and services, and our first in-person Walk in three years. A great deal of change, and a lot to be thankful for.

I hope that you have found something of value in what we have done and are doing. We are committed to continuing the trend in 2023.

T-shirts for our Walk fundraisers are hitting the mail stream this week! My apologies for the delay.

Please check out our monthly activities and join in when you can. Note also the schedule for our 2023 annual events – we don’t yet have specific dates for these, but the months have been selected and these are going to be EXCITING!

Finally, the theme for our year-end giving campaign is “Rebuilding from the Ground Up.” The recent past has taken a toll on many of us, our Chapter included. Thanks for your ongoing support – we wouldn’t be here without you, and we need your help now more than ever. Please consider making a year-end contribution by visiting our online giving form.

As always, if you need information about lupus, have questions or feedback, or would like to start your own fundraiser, please reach out to me at brian@lupusindiana.org or 317.225.4400.

Happy Holidays and blessings to you and yours!

Warm Regards,
-Brian

Happy Holidays
As we get ready to celebrate the holiday season, one of the blessings we are thankful for and want to celebrate is you. We truly appreciate your participation in our events, advocacy, fundraising, donations, sponsorships and partnership in the fight against lupus. Without you and your support, our Chapter couldn't exist so for that, we are eternally grateful. We wish you and yours a holiday season filled with happiness, peace and good health.

Giving Back to Move Forward Year End Challenge
This holiday season, as we give thanks for the support we have received this past year and look to the future, our theme is "Rebuilding from the Ground Up!" 2022 was a year of new beginnings for LFA Indiana. The needs of Hoosiers impacted by lupus are greater than ever and we are working hard to provide programs, services, and resources that help those in our community who desperately need them. The last few years have been difficult for all of us, but we have a renewed commitment to rebuild our Chapter and our ability to improve the lives of those living with lupus. Over the next few weeks, through emails and social media posts that we will be communicating, look for stories of hope from some of those that we have helped this year. It is your contributions and support that have made this possible, and we want you to see the impact it is having. We are making progress, but we have a lot of work to do in 2023. Please consider making a one-time or recurring year-end gift to help us continue our rebuilding efforts through our online giving form. Thank you!
