Description:Join us as we hear from Dr. Pegram and Dr. Michaud from Advanced Pain Care in Central Texas. They will discuss lupus, treatments, and options to manage pain caused by lupus. Dr. Pegram has built his reputation on quality patient care while Dr. Michaud started as a nurse before becoming a doctor. This has helped him to have compassion and better care for his patients.

Presenter:Dr. Samuel Pegram has practiced Rheumatology in Texas for over two decades. Since 1986, Dr. Pegram has built a reputation for quality patient care and top-notch clinical research, having conducted various clinical trials for numerous pharmaceutical companies and clinical research organizations. He attended medical school at the Ohio State University, then continued his Internal Medicine Residency and Rheumatology Fellowship at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Dr. Pegram is a member of the American College of Rheumatology.

Ryan Michaud is a Board Certified physician in Anesthesia and Pain Management and did his Interventional fellowship at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. He received his medical diploma from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2006. He completed his Anesthesia Residency at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque from 2006 to 2010. Before joining Advanced Pain Care, Dr. Ryan Michaud worked in a private practice in Salt Lake City, Utah. He is a member of the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, American Pain Society, International Society of Interventional Pain, American Society of Anesthesiologist and Texas Medical Association. In 2017, Dr. Michaud was appointed Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery and Perioperative Care at UT Dell Medical School. Dr. Michaud is trained in spinal cord stimulation.
