Livestream Empowerment Educational Series-Mindfulness Practices & Lupus |
The Lupus Foundation of America, North Carolina Chapter invites you to attend the upcoming event: Livestream Empowerment Educational Series Thursday, August 24, 2017 6:30pm to 7:30pm About the Seminar: Mindfulness Practices & Lupus Presenter: Kristy Duncan, Owner, Guidepost to Wellness & Lupus Thriver Description: Pain is a persistent part of daily life for many people living with lupus—more than 90% suffer from joint or muscle pain over the course of their illness. Physicians can recommend an arsenal of prescription and over-the-counter medications. But when the pain just won’t leave your body, you can also turn inward. Mindfulness practices have been shown to reduce stress, decrease fatigue, and improve a sense of wellbeing in many settings. Join us for this session to learn more about mindfulness and see demonstrated practices to incorporate into your everyday life. Location: This presentation will be presented via livestream on our Facebook page at the time and date stated above. If you DO NOT have a Facebook account, unfortunately you will not be able to view the livestream LIVE, however, please still register, as we'll send a separate link for those without Facebook to view the presentation after it has taken place. Registrants will be sent an email with instructions of how to view the livestream and the direct link.
